JAMB approves interswitch to provide e-pins for candidates.
The Joint Admission Matriculation Board, JAMB accredits Interswitch to provide ePINs for candidates.
Having recorded significant success over the years in the fintech space in Africa, Interswitch is set to provide 30,000 e PIN s daily, for this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination candidates. This is to further extend its relevance to the public by paying attention to students with a view to providing a reliable platform where they can seamlessly obtain examination forms.
Jamb has approved Interswitch as one of its partners to sell E-PINs via all its available channels such as Quickteller USSD, Mobile App and Quickteller Paypoint, from now till the 5th of May 2017.
This means that candidates now have access to a more stable and reliable option for securing their registration forms especially in areas where banking services are limited or unavailable.
Candidates can get JAMB ePINs in three simple steps
Step 1: Create your Profile on www.jamb.org.ng
Step 2: To make payment, Select Sales Form & UTME EXAM, then choose “Interswitch payment” under Payment Options;
Click ‘Pay Online Now’ to pay immediately on the JAMB website and get ePIN (the PIN will also be sent to the candidate’s mail)
Click ‘QuickTeller/Bank Branch Payment’ to get a Transaction ID which can be used for payment on quickteller website, Quickteller App, at any Quickteller Paypoint Agent Location listed on the Jamb website, or by simply dialing *322*1*04295701*Amount# to get the ePIN (the PIN will also be sent to the candidate’s mail).
Step 3 : Go to registered JAMB CBT centre with ePIN to complete registration, biometrics, and pick up your booklets.
