Low Score in JAMB? If Your JAMB Score is Below 200, This Is For You.
Did you score Low in your last JAMB examination, This post is for you.
The previous statistics and analysis of jamb result shows that many candidates alwaysscore below 180 in JAMB and if you are among the candidates that scored 180 and above, you are indeed lucky and you deserve to celebrate but the journey has just began and you can forget the party now until your matriculation day.
Quickly I would like to inform you that you are qualified for both University and polytechnic Admission. By now you should be planning ahead for your screening.
Before your screening there are Few things you should know. kindly read carefully and pay attention to details.
1). Competition in Nigerian Universities
The competition in Nigeria universities is very high and candidate with higher score in jamb and post utme will be consider first.
If you score below 200 in jamb, you will need to fast and pray for you to be admitted into Nigerian university
2) Some Universities will not accept 180 Despite the fact that the jamb minimum admission requirement into Nigeria university is 180. Most universities that will accept 180 will want to consider applicants higher scores first.

1) UI
2) Uniben
3) Unilag
4). Lautech
5) Funaab
6) OAU
7) Futa
If you select any of the above school and score below 200 in jamb , you are Advised to change your school of choice immediately. You can obtain the Jamb change of course/institution form.
(3) Beware of Top Rated Courses
The top rated courses varies from one institution to the other and your academic performance should decide either to move on or go back.
Some courses like : medicine, law, Accounting, masscomm, economic, pharmacy and engineering are very competitive and you need to be at your best.
If you don’t have what it takes to fight the above course, it will be better and more beneficial for you to change your course but if you have what it takes, you can Move on.
Part time/ weekend / evening programme both university and polytechnic offer part time programme and admission into part time programme is much more easier compare to full time Admission.
Once you obtain a part time form, you have 90% assurance that you will be offered admission. Moreso, part time programme gives you the flexibility to work and study.
However, part time Programme is not advisable for young students.
Alternative Admission opportunities for JAMB candidates will low score
1)IJMB Programme
IJMB means Interim Joint Matriculation Board.
IJMB is an Advanced A level exam for Admission into 200 level in Nigeria universities. Candidates that enrol for IJMB do not need to register for JAMB .
The duration of the ijmb programme is 9 month and successful candidates will secure admission into 200 level.

JUPEB Means Joint University Preliminary Examination Board. The difference between JUPEB and IJMB Programme is that more schools accepts JUPEB.
