Yearly, more than 1.8 million Nigerians and even international students do sit for JAMB examination with the hope or desire to gain admission into their preferred University but just a number of them realise this dream and when many of them do, they are not given their preferred courses.
We are bringing to you Interim Joint Matriculation Board ( IJMBE ) programme. A programme that enables candidates to gain admission into 200lv without JAMB after nine months.
IJMBE programme was initiated by Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in the 90s and it is gradually gaining grounds over other programmes today because of her success stories so far.
The final examination is done yearly by February. Classes for new session begins by March. Registration for 2018/2019 session will close by January. For more information, contact 07032375931 or 09098985275
IJMB candidates are expected to offer three subjects. These subjects are divided into different sections.. The three subjects carries 15 marks with “A” representing 5 as shown in the screenshot above.
Note that a candidate without F in any course will be given an extra point. This means that students with three A’s will automatically be given 16 points instead of 15.
IJMBE COURSES AND SUBJECT COMBINATION
How IJMBE Works
Prospective IJMB candidates are expected to obtain IJMBE form for N8,000 at any of the registration centres closer to them.
After Obtaining the form, candidates are expected to resume for classes. The classes will last for about 9-11 months.
At the end of the programme, candidates will sit for IJMBE final examination. Two months after the examination, the certificate/results will be released. The certificate is then used as a qualification for 200lv admission into the universities that accepts the programme.

IJMBE PROGRAMME DURATION:
Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination, IJMBE programme runs for a period of one academic session divided in two semesters. IJMBE academic Session is between 9-12 months. Read more about IJMB here
IJMBE PROGRAMME REQUIREMENTS
1.Five ordinary level (O/L) credit passes as contain in jamb brochure. This must include Mathematics and English language.
2. Awaiting result can also apply. O/L result must be available at the end of the programme or before University admission.
3. Ordinary Level Result be a Maximum of 2 sittings.
Note: Two Passport Photographs is also required for registration. However, students should come with eight passport on the day of resumption.

IJMBE application can be done online and offline. However, we advise prospective candidates to visit IJMBE registration centre closer to them in order to avoid online scam. .

IJMBE Programme is acceptable in over 70% of Nigerian universities for 200lv Admission without JAMB. More information is available on page 4 of jamb brochure.
