Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK Professional Diploma in Journalism admission form for the 2016/2017 academic session is out.
The management are invites qualified candidates, particularly Journalists who are practicing without any qualification in Journalism or Mass Communication for admission into the unizik Professional Diploma in Journalism (PDJ). The Programme is offered by the Department of Mass Comm UNIZIK , Awka.
The Purpose of the programme is to help journalists, especially those who have practiced the profession for seven years without any formal qualification in Journalism or Mass Communication with the theoretical knowledge to remedy their deficiency.
UNIZIK Professional Diploma in Journalism Entry Qualification.
- Candidates should process a minimum of five O’ Level credits obtained in not more than two sittings, This should include English Language.
UNIZIK Professional Diploma in Journalism Duration of Programme.
The professional diploma in Journalism (PDJ) is a part-time programme that is expected to run for a minimum of three semesters of 18 calendar months.
Nature of UNIZIK Professional Diploma in Journalism programme
The professional diploma in Journalism PDJ programme is a part-time programme in which practising Journalists will attend lectures two to three days in a week between 2.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. in order for them to be able to attend to their daily professional assignments during early hours.
